Harlan Murrell was born in Fort Worth. Harlan and Sheri married in 1980 and have two children. Harlan has attended at Castleberry church his entire life, except for one year, when he was away for college. After serving as a deacon for many years, Harlan became an elder in 2002.

Our deacons serve the church in several capacities, from maintaining the church building to providing the needs of elderly or sick members. Their work is an integral part of Castleberry church.
